My Thoughts On A Location for

the CCGTCC. I was reading Jim Follis's post below and it seemed very costly for our club to rent a space at $27,000 a year, plus. As a real estate inverstor, broker, developer wouldn't it make more sense to buy a small home and try to get a use variance for what we want to do. This way we wouldn't need to pay a commercial price. Is it possible to find a home for about $300,000 in a location that would work. Isn't this what they did with Liberace home?
If I do the math, buying a home for $300,000 and putting down $50,000 it would cost us less than $2,000 a month plus we would have the benefit of appreciation. I'll bet the city would be in favor of something that might attract tourist's interest. I'm thinking maybe we could house some type of chip displays or chip library that would be of interest to people. I'm picturing something like the Trop had downstairs.
OR AM I DREAMING AGAIN.
