Re: Should I worry about the RIO WSOP 2005 chip?

Nobody is sitting on 400. The Rio only sells 5 chips at a time. The reason that this chip is so hard to come by is that there was a poker tournament going on at the Rio back in March when the chip was released. Over the course of 11 days the hundreds of poker players in the events bought them up a little here & there. That was during the time when my back went out & I forgot all about them. When I felt better I went up there on the 11th day. I ended up getting the last 35 chips after repeated trips to the cage. I sold them all (except for the one in my collection) for $7 each & could have sold another three stacks easily. I don't think you'll see the chip for sale for less than $15 anywhere. Poker & the WSOP have become so popular (plus the fact that the Rio is where the WSOP is being held) that everyone wants the chip. Andy - Las Vegas
