Re: scanner using Chipbb to store pictures
In Response To: Re: scanner ()

(first time for me)

Click file upload up in the top menu bar.

A window will open and ask for your name, email and filename.

After you enter your name and email address, click on browse. This will allow you to find the picture on YOUR computer, to upload to Greg's computer.

Click on SUBMIT and the file will be uploaded to Greg's system.

Next the important part, it will say copy this link. So you highlight the link that is shown and press Ctrl+C that's Copy (hold the control key down and press the C) the link is copied to your clipboard.

Go to the message you want to post and hold the Ctrl key down and press V (paste)

You will see something like this

http://www.chipguide.com/tcbuploads.php?image=ev149.jpg

Which is a link to the message. In order for the picture to be seen in the message you need to all the PIC command [ PIC]the link[/ PIC] pic works too, there's no space, but if I did it, you wouldn't see the letters. Most BBs around the world it's [IMG] [/IMG] the first one tells the BB system it's an image, the second one tells the system it's the end of the image link.

Here's what you will get.

There are no spaces allowed between the PIC command, the link, and the /PIC command. If there are any extra spaces, it won't display.
