I think you're right about the glue Gene. As you may know, looking at the film first hand is best. The center spot is similar in both chips and looks like a dab of glue.

The undrilled chip is one I got off eBay from "ChipQuest". ChipQuest is D. Whelan. That nice bright inlay is alarming when you take everything into consideration, but the center shadow is similar in both chips. While several varieties of LV Nevada Club chips did get center drilled, I haven't seen that particular cancellation on this TCR#. As far as I can tell it is a legit chip and the x-ray doesn't provide any different answer. Don't see the chip moving out of my collection but I'd pass along it's history to the next owner for sure. I've been wondering if x-ray is going to reveal some/all/any repairs.
