Top of the Vine, California, Brasscore...

Tom, that type of chip is called a brasscore or PMSC (Plastic Molded Slug Core). It is a brass disc with raised surfaces on both sides and is filled-in with a plastic material.

The Top of the Vine card room (at the top of the Grapevine) Lebec, California. As long as the color of that chip is white, it is valued at around $3 - $7.
