I had great intentions of "shutting up" but the more I think about this the more Ken's statements irritate me.

First, "One Man (OK, 2 men) can only do so much." Publisher limited edition to 400 pages. So, what do you do? Of course, the authors wanted to include as much as possible. So, logically they include chips from places that attract attention, primarily Nevada.

If I were getting crowded for room it would be painfully obvious what would be omitted. Simply put, the chips that few people have an interest in.

Then, I am biased..James and Steve are our good friends. Last week Lynn and I spent three days in Deadwood with them. We had a riot and a couple new discoveries were made.

While the book was being put together I had many conversations with James. He is such a perfectionist. The stress level was high. Because of his dedication to the hobby he kept going. I think at times he was ready to dump the project, but that did not happen. He made sure a Premium Product was delivered to the collectors.

Ken, you are entitled to your opinion, we all are. In this case I think you are grossly out of line. I think AN APOLOGY TO THE AUTHORS IS DUE!!!

Just one other thing....Since you collect stuff from areas not in the book I am sure you can post on the BB and get an answer. If not I am sure James would take the time to help you...That is just the kind of guy he is.

Come to the convention this year and meet James and Steve and hundreds more. I think your attitude will change.

At this point, "I just think you just don't get it."
