Vegas Trip Revealed.....

I just returned from Las Vegas (mild depression) and as usual had a great time in sin city.

Chipping in Vegas went well and every casino was very nice about selling us the chips save one. The Flamingo was extremely rude and made some negative comments about chippers and asked that we not ask again but still gave us two OBS $1 chips they had in the drawer.

The guy at The Wynn cage said he was also a chipper and gave us mint chips still in plastic. I was very UNimpressed with The Wynn casino as compared to some of the others.

The monorail was running and it's a great way to travel up and down the strip. It certainly beats the hell out of taking a cab. I just wish the monorail (which runs from the MGM to the Sahara) listed the casinos directly across the street from where it stops. For instance, which stop would place you closest to the Mirage? Oh well....

Needless to say, the highlight of the trip was taking the helicopter flight into the Grand Canyon and horseback riding at the ranch.

At the David Copperfeild show, my wife was one of about a dozen audience members that he made disappear (sorry guys, he does bring em back). These folks got to go back stage and meet David and get autographs etc. My wife was on cloud nine the rest of the trip after that.

We Will Rock You at the Paris is a must see for anyone that likes Queen music and Barry Manilow puts on a fantastic and fun show.

On the last day, we did the Star Trek Experience (make sure you have discount coupons) and saw David Brenner (very funny) since it was comp.

Gaming was uneventful (nice was of saying we lost) and The Hilton quickly became our favorite place to play other than the Monte Carlo. We are thinking of staying at The Hilton on our next trip.

As always, the fun never stopped and we can't wait to get back.... grin
