Simple Solution to Scanning Chips

Boy, I'm not to bright. After scanning hundreds of chips and trying to set them straight on the scanner bed then re-scanning because they weren't straight, a simple solution finally dawned on me.

Simply take an sheet of paper, wrap a small piece of scotch tape around your finger and affix it to the paper. Then press your chip on the scotch tape straight (side your scanning face up). Then place the sheet upside down on the scanner and you will get perfect results the first time every time. Can't believe it took me so long to think of this. If you are careful peeling the chip off, the tape and paper can be used multiple times.

Can't tell you how I envied those straight scans from others, now I am a happy chipper.

If others have found easy ways to get a straight scan on the first try, let's hear about it.

And no ribbing me for being so dense, I'm a senior citizen now.
