RFID in Wynn Chips

As usual Gene Trimble was right, but please let me shed a bit more light on the subject. Today, I spoke to a director of engineering at Gaming Partners International (GPI). GPI USA, previously known as Paulson Gaming, manufactures Paulson, B&G and Bud Jones chips. They are the manufacturer of the new Wynn chips. RFID is installed on the $25 and above chips. The RFID is passive RFID (only an antenna is required - no solid state chip). The antenna is a thin film antenna inserted into the chip during manufacturing. The microdot is simply another level of security.
