Sorry but I can't let this one go sad

Archie, teaching is not the cushion job you think, especially in California where we already have the Terminator in attack mode. I retired from 33 years of teaching two years ago. The problem is that you don't get support from anyone and you can't discipline the students who need it. If you do his parents call a board member who chews out the administrator who chews you out. Every problem known to man is directed to teachers to solve and the parents pretty much get a free ride.

I respect your views on most things but school now is not like it was when you went.
