HR Oversize Peacock Lounge chips...

David, I'm pretty sure the HR Peacock Lounge chips are bigger primarily because they had to differentiate the chips that would be played up in the Peacock from the rest of the chips in the casino. When you place a bet in the Peacock with standard house chips, the dealer exchanges them with the bigger Peacock chips so the tables can read them.

When you play the Peacock chips down in the main casino, of course the cage will re-direct (assuming you lose!) them to the Peacock... It would be interesting to see the X-Ray of the Peacock chips, to see if they NEED to be that big due to the size of the antenna Gene is talking about. If/when the entire HR goes for the RFID table tracking, it will be interesting to see if standard HR chips adopt the larger Peacock size.

Interesting note: the artwork on the Peacock's is the same size as on the standard HR chips - it is only the rim that is larger on the Peacock's. Peacock's could handle bigger artwork, if the overlay extended as far to the rim as on the standard chips...
