A friend of mine works for Bell Helicopter and sent me this chip. He didn't know how many were made but they came out of New River, NC (where the V22 squadron is based) He thinks it was used to raise money for the Marine Ball, a big social event in DC. They were made to commemorate the Operational Evaluation (OTIIG) going on at Nellis. Eight aircraft flew from NC to NV (some non-stop via aerial refueling) and are basing there while they play war games to see if the aircraft is "ready" With all that sand and dust wonder why they picked Nellis? No extras.
