Rosselli figures in Robert Maheu's book, Next To Hughes as well. "Uncle Johnny" was what Maheu's children called him Maheu finds himself in 1959 sitting at a table at a lounge in El Rancho Vegas with owner Beldon Kettleman, Zsa Zsa Gabor and Johnny Roselli. In Maheu's pocket is a subpoena that he has been contracted to serve to Kettleman. The gig had been a lark in Maheu's mind until he had met Kettleman's "friend", Roselli just a few minutes before. In a move that enabled Mr. Maheu to write a book or two and address hobby groups years later, the unnerved would-be server returned the suboena...unserved.
