from my 50 years of playing, the new Corporate run casinos are leagally cheating players. 1. Some casinos are now paying 7/5 on a BJ hand. For 50 years I always got 3/2, I always played a single deck, now almost impossible to find, and if you do they shuffle every two hands. (not in the old day's) 2. Comps, In 1962 at the Stardust I lost my 100 bucks in 2 day's on leave from service, dead broke, hungry, the pit boss gave me a meal and bus ticket to So. Ca. Ask for that now and see what you get! Today comps go to slot players faster than table players. Bean counters would like all slots and no table games, for obvious reasons.3. Every possible (legal) advantage is put in place, making it harder and harder for the player to win now and then, not the case years ago. So the answer for me is never play a slot, and the only table game is live poker. I'll take old Vegas. and never an Indian joint. I know it is a big business now, so the answer, buy stock, and collect chips. I still love Vegas, just dreaming of the 60's - 80's.
