That same sort of thing happened to me once. I left the Sonic late one night and by myself. I put the deposit bag on top of my car to unlock it, got in and drove away. When I got to the bank, the deposit bag wasn't in the car with me, so I retraced my route to see if I could find it. After driving half a mile the wrong way down a one way road, I finally ended up back in front of the Sonic and there it was, a bright silver deposit bag laying right in the middle of the highway. I couldn't hardly believe it was still there. It is a pretty busy intersection with a convenience store across the street and one beside me also. I just got lucky.
