Nice Troll... now go away please
In Response To: GRADING OF CHIPS ()

I have about the same attitude as most everyone else here. When they slab my collection of Cheese Curls that looks like Presidents, I'm going to be rich, rich, rich. grin

Until then, it's really just a matter of fact that most chips collectors don't care about slabs, won't buy them, don't like them and aren't going to be impressed with grading a piece of plastic that can be cleaned or altered. I want to be able to hold, inspect and feel my collection.

I say, let everyone decide for themself if they want gradded and slabbed chips. I'm not interested and most everyone else isn't interested, so the idea that they will become "valuable" is a falacy. With no buyers, except the suckers who think it's going to improve the value, the suckers will soon find they are drilling a dry hole. (or mining fools gold?) vbg

Looking at other hobbies that have been ruined by grading and slabbing, I can see why chip (and token, and strike and dice and...) collectors don't want encased casino collectibles, with grading. We are collectors for fun and a hobby, not in the investment business.

Hey Billy, sell your chips fast, before the market drops. If you have all those old chips from an estate auction, people are going to find out, and the values will go down. Sell now, and then please just go away
