Can anybody tell me when Hunter S. Thompson attended "The Mint 400" race which became the basis for his book "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" and the subsequent movie starring Jonny Depp?

Were the chips issued still the old "Mint" chips, or are they the "Dell Webb's The Mint" chips?

Met Hunter at Andy's club, "changes" in NYC (Andy was Andy Warhol). Andy introduced us.
