Has anybody in the Club looked into if it's possible to put publicly readable info on an RFID chip? Where I'm going to is this; wouldn't it be cool if the Hard Rock (or any other casino introducing a new RFID chip) could put this info on their RFID chips: date made, # produced, Casino name, denomination, chip name, artist (if applicable), perhaps you can think of more information you'd like on it. The chip manufacturers could then sell an inexpensive reader to collectors, and if said reader connected to a computer - it could eventually be cross-referenced with an on-line version of TCR GIVING UP TO DATE VALUES ON ALL YOUR RFID CHIPS. Lets say in 2010, you have 837 RFID chips. You could scan them all into your database, and then automatically have the values of your RFID collection adjusted whenever you go on the internet...
