As you can see from the scan I joined the Hartford Club on 11/11/1978. I was in London for a 4 day weekend and only managed to go to the club once. I had pretty bad luck and did not save a chip. I picked the Hartford because they had a craps table but it wasn't running the evening I was there. They did have chips at the blackjack tables and I watched a Saudi guy playing roulette with some very nice plaques - he was betting 2,000 on the black on every spin and playing 50 on the numbers. He dropped about 20,000 in the few minutes I stood and watched him. I would love to get a chip or jeton from the Hartford for my collection.
