I am glad to see the Casinos doing better!!! Las Vegas has been hit with Indian Gaming all over and Now Poker. com's and small poker houses littered everywhere. I have seen the Impact to the casinos and to the steady rise of room rates as well.Each person only has(or should) so much money he or she can afford to lose annually and if I ride up to my local Indian Casino(Chumash) and lose 500.00 I might be apt to cancel or postpone my Vegas Trip as My "bank Roll" has Dwindled and i need to let it grow a while. This all effects las vegas who 10 years ago really had a larger hold on the gambling market. I dont like to lose either but I do love a three day getaway to Binion's with room rates of only 29.99 a nite!!! and good cheap eats like the great Cafe at Ellis Island where you can buy a huge angus beef burger and get a pint of their home Brew for a Buck!!(the whole meal is more, the beer is a buck) But the quality is high and prices low.I would hate to see Vegas Downsize due to lack of business. In todays world there is so many ways to lose a buck, I just would rather lose it in Vegas with a free drink in my hand and a smile on my face, Win or lose its still cheaper than staying at disneyland for three days!!(unless you are a whale)!!
