To really save big on shipping materials I use a 6x9 manila clasp envelope. They cost about $0.03 each. The chips are placed in small plastic bags, about $0.02 each and then bubble wrapped with wrap I cut from a large roll...bubble wrap about $0.03 per cut. The small bags with chips are stapled to the bubble wrap to keep them from moving around.

This comes out to a whopping $0.09 for one chip and about $0.17 for five. The envelopes will ship with a basic first class stamp if weight is correct. This method doesn't take much longer than any other method of shipping.

One more thing, I always plastic tape the envelope flap...keeps those pesky USPS employees out of my mail.
