I got thrown out of Texas City one day!

We were on our way to Galveston beach and our car broke down right outside of one of those plants. We went into the trailor (this was before cell phones) and asked to use the phone. NO ONE inside was very happy to see us there. They denied us at first and then realized we weren't going anywhere if we didn't get some help so they told us to make the call. We called for help and then they escorted us out. As we were walking out I saw several people in "astronaut" looking suits walking around and I was happy to leave!! We had to wait off-property for a couple of hours until help arrived and then we were on our way. I'll never forget how cold they were to us.
