THE SWASTIKAS

I coveted them when I first started collecting and paid $1.85 each for 15 of them in the '70's thinking I had real Nazi chips...Dale Seymour set me straight on the chips; their history; and indeed I have several very old USPC catalogues with the chips. USPC took them off the market in the late 30s when Nazi Germany came into power. I had a beautiful set of 300 mint chips that I could not use in my home game as several players objected to the design for obvious reasons. I sold that set several years ago. I didn't see anything in the scans shown that indicated any chips were from Nevada casinos but maybe you were putting the shuck on poor old Skip. *g"
