Former Caesars Atlantic City President Relicensed

Gary C. DiBartolomeo the former President and Chief Executive Officer of Caesars Atlantic City has had his casino license reinstated by the New Jersey Casino Control Commission. DiBartolomeo's casino license was revoked in 2001 after it was revealed that he lied about his gambling problem to the commission. DiBartolomeo formed a junket company to fly gamblers to Caribbean casinos during his exile from New Jersey's casino business. He does not have a job lined up but has been approached by several Atlantic City casino hotels interested in hiring him.

As part of his license approval, regulators are requiring him to:

* Resume treatment with a psychiatrist or psychologist specializing in addictive disorders.

* Attend weekly Gamblers Anonymous meetings.

* Have his paychecks directly deposited in a bank account from which only his wife can draw funds.

* Submit annual audits of his personal finances to regulators, reflecting all income and every expenditure more than $500.

* Refrain from gambling of any type, in any casino jurisdiction, including social card games and office pools.

* Refrain from accepting gifts from casino customers or employees.

* Repay four $10,000 loans made to him by individuals once he finds work in a casino.

Mr. DiBartolomeo's license does not allow him to be in a management position so it is very likely that he will work in a casino marketing position bringing gamblers to whatever casino he ends up working at.
