After Harrah's bought the various Horseshoes from Jack, they actively went after the Las Vegas property. At first, they wanted the Horseshoe name, WSOP, and a "downtown" casino. The "downtown" idea was scraped and the Binion's name was sold to another company. Harrah's never owned the Binion's Horseshoe Las Vegas property.
