That is one of the things I like about Vegas and, especially, the Coast Properties. At least Gold Coast, Barbary Coast and The Orleans. Never been to Suncoast. The availability of games more fitting of my bankroll. I have been playing at the boats here in Illinois, a lot, lately and get killed every time I go out. Carribean Stud at $10 ante with $20 bet. $15 and $25 Blackjack. We won't even discuss Roulette or Craps as I can't afford to eve step to the rails. I can go to Orleans, and I assume Barbary and play $3 blackjack in the afternoons and $5 at night. I assume but don't know, that Carribean is $5/$10 and I can play roulette numbers for less than a buck. I don't recall the roulette or craps limits. I also know that I can play the come, take odds, and, maybe, play a couple other numbers for less than just a line bet at an Illinois Boat.
To sum up, I can go to Barbary and get a lot of play for my money. All in a place that might feel old but is nice, clean and I feel safe.
As for your GN comment, I made that same observation the other night on a group that discusses Pachislo machines. The GN looks like it belongs on the strip. Like I said before, Barbary looks like it belongs downtown. Maybe they should switch the places around. :D
