Question about Bleeding

I have seen several posts regarding bleeding, yet I still have a question.

I recently purchased a roll of 20 Lucky Strike chips on e-bay which were advertised as uncirculated. They were delivered in a roll as advertised and sure seemed to be uncirculated. However, unfortunately, there was a significant amount of bleeding.

Fortunately for me, the seller was very accommodating and agreed to replace the chips with uncirculated chips and no bleeding.

I have read several posts that say bleeding can occur if you use plastic (pvc?) sheets. Apparently it is also true that bleeding can occur with the chips merely stacked against each other. These chips came from Hawaii, so I am guessing they got baked together somewhere along the way.

My question is this:

Does anyone know if this new roll of chips would be vulnerable to bleeding if I put them in a standard poker room 100 chip tray in a climate controlled basement?

Any help would be appreciated...Thanks...Jim
