Aside from what you said, did you notice that...

Rick Doptis (of Wynn's) did not dispute that it was possible to leave the casino with the tagged chips.

However, the article also made note that RFID was a counter to chip theft. I would suspect that RFID sensors will be at the playing tables and cashiers to track play and ensure erroro free payouts. Perhaps the roulette tables will have sensing that alerts when chips are removed beyond sensor range, i.e., harvested.

I doubt that there will be a second rack (for coloring up before leaving a table) or cashing out for cash when leaving a table, so I imagine you will be able to walk around with chips.

But hey, I'm sure that there will be plenty of collectors on-hand Opening Day and eBay will be an indicator as to what got out!
