Re: NCR-need ID help from Banknote of the Day guy

Here's a little bit of info in auction catalogs from a google search:

3259 The Chung Hwa Republic. 100 Gold Dollars. AU,
because of mishandling.
($750-1500)
These notes were put out around 1900 by those opposed to the Manchu dynasty in China by the man who later became known as Sun Yat Sen. The face is orange with a blue flag with a sun (Taiwan). The back has the republic flag but everything is in green. There is an embossed seal which reads .Victoria, B.C. 1900.. The 1978 article on the discovery of a $1000 bill of this issue accompanies this item.

834
Chung Hwa Republic, $10, ND (1910), (SM C262-2), sign. Sun Wen (Sun Yat Sen), with registration stamp for payment, serial no. 27998, fresh good very fine to about extremely fine, rare condition for this pre-Republic issue.
US$900-1,000
Realised: US$800
