An explanation

These 30 pocket plastic pages were not designed to hold casino chips. They were meant to hold small coins in 1.5" x 1.5" cardboard flips. It just so happens that casino chips a slightly larger than 1.5" wide (by 1/16") and just fit into the pockets. I would bet that Cowens would say that they don't recommend that the 30 pocket pages be used for casino chips. The other factor is that 30 casino chips are much too heavy for the plastic page to support. Over time these pages will sag and deform from the weight of the chips. The binder holes will also elongate and eventually tear depending on how the albums are stored. So the pages are not being used for their intended purpose, you can't blame the manufacturer.
