WBC super lightweight champion Arturo "Thunder" Gatti set up a likely summer pay-per-view showdown with Floyd Mayweather with a fifth round knockout over "Jesse" James Leija Saturday night at Bally's Atlantic City. Gatti came out boxing, resisting Leija's attempts to draw him into a brawl. That is until round five, when Gatti suddenly floored Leija with a straight right. Leija got up dazed and fought back gamely, but Gatti unloaded with a barrage of hard shots, dropping Leija again with a left hook. The 38-year-old Leija was counted out by referee Earl Brown at 1:48.
