I'm still relatively new to collecting, having only joined the on 03/31/2003. I don't have a TCR, but I do have James' and Steve's book.

I did most of my chip research by asking questions here, and by visiting every members chip site that was posted. Most of the sites are selling related, but alot offer some really good info and history.

Here's my tip:
I created a directory on my computer called Chips Won. When I win a chip, and it has been paid for, I bring the page up and select; File/Save As/Web Page Complete.

This allows me to save a copy of the chip pic, a description, and the price realized! It's best to rename the filename as some filenames are so long that they cannot be backed up. (I learned this the hard way when I backed up and formatted my computer and lost a year's worth of saves!)
