Accepting bids for the following tournament set

I hope what I am doing is ethical--I'm sure if it isn't, I will hear about it but here goes.

This set of plastic tournament chips are no longer in use by the Lucky Derby. They have since replaced it with new simple initialed clay chips. The reason they replaced them was because they were to hard to stack as if a reason had to be stated.

This set is the only one available. That is not to say the others have been destroyed but I can't get any.

In any case, these are not my chips but I would like to have them in my collection. Problem is I have no idea as to what a fair market price would be to offer the owner.

So I have decided to put them on the board and take bids for them if anyone other than myself wants them. Be advised that I will also be bidding on these chips and if I happen to become the highest bidder, all will see it. I WIll NOT SNIPE anyone.

I feel this is way for the seller/owner to realize as much a possible and yet the buyer (hopefully me) will not overpay for the set.

This auction will end when the post reaches the bottom of the thread. If I am the highest bidder at that time, I will notify the next highest bidder to see if he wants to put in a last bid.

Keep in mind, this is NOT a "must have" set and I have my limits as well as to what I will bid for them.
