Somebody must collect these things. I’m told they are casino “applause sticks”. Given to customers at casino nightclubs to be used to (gently) knock on the table or glassware in lieu of applause. Made completely of wood. Birch & Pine, I think.

The stick on the left is just short of 7 ½” in length. Printed on the stick is, SANDS HOTEL / LAS VEGAS, NEVADA. The stick on the right is 7 ¼” in length. Printed on the stick is, DRUM UP A GOOD TIME AT / EL RANCHO VEGAS / LAS VEGAS, NEVADA. The pinkish “ball” on each is about ¾” in diameter.

I’ll trade one or both for cool stuff from the Golden Gate in Las Vegas. Chips, matchbooks, ashtrays, swizzle sticks… whatever.
