has been mine for a long time! In the past I have suggested webmaster control (repeat, control not censorship) of this sort of endless bantering but was brushed off in the name of "free speech". Continuous arguing and chest pounding between individuals on the Board does have an effect on the new and future members of our great collecting community. In those instances the webmaster should exercise his control. How long can we expect the webmaster's request for calm and civility to last? If I was a betting man I would say "hours".

There is the argument that I don't have to read the offending posts--and I don't--however, there are newcomers to the hobby who don't know and therefore are getting a skewed view of what we are all about.

Don't stick a fork in me because I'll never be done when it comes to potential harm that can befall our great hobby.
