Maybe they are rare "error" ashtrays. (OK stop hitting me)

So someone has taken the time to make the screens for these and produce them? But they can't spell? Or did they do that so it wouldn't be a counterfeit of the real thing?

I remember seeing Largine watches, some cheap knockoffs from Japan, with the same script lettering as Longine.

It just doesn't make sense for the time and trouble to produce replica's with obvious errors, unless they were trying to avoid them being judged as fakes?

Anyone else, like someone who knows more about making these fakes, have an opinion?

Are you active ashtraty collectors seeing more of the same designs?
