Marc Bauer of North York, Ontario, Canada sent me a check for $250 U.S. in December. My bank returned it to me yesterday for Not Sufficient Funds. He was looking for real casino chips to compose a poker set. I am trying to contact him and if the situation is resolved satisfactorially I will post that when it occurs. The account is in the names of Horst and Vera Bauer (who signed the check). I assume they are his parents since he told me he is a college student. I would caution anyone else who contemplates dealings with the Bauers. There is no listing in the club directory of anyone by these names.
