Re: grin TITO?

I would imagine that some collect for the artwork on the logo side. As I see it though, and this is just my take on it, the cheracter and value of the voucher is what is printed on the other side. Otherwise it is just another piece of casino stationary if you look at it. Then again, I would imagine that could be a whole other collectable area. Letterhead and Envelopes from casinos. I know some collect business cards etc. If there was a way to spray or treat the TITOs to preserve or, to use a term from Photography and Art, Fix the data onto the other side, that would be more desirable to me. The value of the TITO would be irrelevent to me, personally. I value that connection to it's purpose so that it isn't just another piece of paper like a register receipt etc. One of the things that really tells a part of the story, I think, are the TITOs that I have worth .02 or .05 or .50 .

On the subject of TITOs from a Non-Collecting sense, my take is that I think the machines should be set to dispense change as well as the TITOs. Say you have a hit on a quarter machine for $5. It isn't that big of a deal to take a small hand full of quarters and put them in your pocket. Or, if you had .50 or .10 left on a slot machine to just get coins. I can appreciate the value to them though when like I did the other night on a .02 Video Slot and hit a bonus round for 6000 credits. It was nice to have a voucher for $120 rather than carrying 12000 pennies or 2400 nickels around in a bucket, or having to wait for a fill or hand pay.
