Two years ago I ran for Membership Officer on my own agenda, not having anything to do with the performance of the then and now current Membership Officer, Ralph Myers. When I was not successful in my bid for elected office, I found another way to give back to this club that has done so much for me. I have devoted my time to the Bruce Landau Memorial Auction for the last two conventions and have promised my time for eternity into the future.
I believe the current board has done a wonderful job and they are all devoted to the jobs they have so unselfishly volunteered for. As long as this level of trust and respect continues, I will continue to support and vote for them in the future. When the time comes that one or all of them decides to step down, I will consider once again how I can best support the club and may then decide to run for office or support a new candidate.
