John; I disagree with your assessment of Limited Editions. Your emphasis seems to be focused on anticipation of value appreciation at the expense of those who are unable to aquire chips for their collection(s).

Here is a factual case in point that many A.C. chippers are probably not aware... Did you know that the recently issued $25 Showboat Halloween chip was originally going to be made in a quantity of only 100 pieces? I would like to believe that it was my input and discussion with Chris Block that persuaded him to increase his order to 200 pieces. How many chippers do you think would have been turned off to the hobby (and Showboat's chip program in particular) if only 100 $25 chips were made? (I can hear the screams of discontent here in Las Vegas now) John; I'm sure YOU would have been thrilled, because in all probability you would have gotten "YOUR" chip. What about other chippers from around the country being able to get theirs?
