The Spaulding Fibre "Chip"

I notice you list the Spaulding Fibre small disc as a chip maker's sample, Robert. I researched the WWW and belive that these items are samples of the fibre composite material offered by Spaulding Fibre Co., Inc. This company, now known as Spaulding Composites, is an old company that was located in New England (N.H. I believe). I link below some history on the company and its predecessors and successors. Note the entries dated 1965 and 1983.

This is an interesting piece of material, and I have it in my sample collection, but I don't believe it has anything to do with gaming, not even as a part of a set of chips given out for home play as is sometimes done.

If anyone has more info on this piece, I'd be interested in seeing it posted here. For now, my recommendation to DaleS would be to remove this from future Antique Poker Chips references.
