In Response To: eBay Shill Bidding Question ()

over the next highest bidder. For example, if the high bid prior to your bid was $5.00 and your new high bid was $17.00, the new high bid would be $5.50 (yours). If "Mr. Shill" bids $20, the new high bid would be $17.50. Now, if you retract your bid, it reverts back to an incremental increase over the previous high bidder (back to $5.50 -- "Mr. Shill" now being the high bidder). grin Steve B
