A little clarification....

Rich Burgel, past Publicity Chairman for the Club, is the owner of the giftshop located at the Tropicana between the Legends Deli and the Casino Legends Hall of Fame and Gaming Museum.

Rich also owns (the last I saw) the giftshop and Gaming Museum located at Neonopolis, and I had heard that he had or has a shop out I-15 towards Los Angeles. But my recollections are real vague on that.In any event, Rich has several employees, anyone of whom may operate the Nevadamint entity of Internet sales, too include eBay offerings. This is the same as Mike Spinetti having employees that handle his Internet sales, to include WTC on eBay.

I know that Lou Lucci works/ed at the Tropicana location and I believe that an "Eric" works at the Neonopolis location. In fact, "Eric" permitted my sone (Casey) and I, free entry into the museum as a courtesy to our Club membership. I do not know if this is their standard policy, but it was a generous offer to Casey and I.

With respect to the museum there, Rich has put together some nice items and I believe he intends to do more work on it. Other than Cutler, Spinetti, Seymour and a few others, I defy the vast majority of us to be able to put together a braod spectrum of interesting artifacts.

Now, having said that, please let me state that I do not agree with "retro" items unless they have a date of manufacture stamped on them, or something of similar notation.

Without accusing anyone of anything, I think that it is inappropriate (and in some cases may be against certain laws) to use logos and likenesses of logos and trademarked items without approval of the holder of the rights. Vague and ambiguous attestations of having an approval don't cut it in my book.

If I had a lisencing agreement with the holders of the "sands" or "thunder bird" or "landmark" name or logo, boy would I love to show it off. Heck, if nothing else, that document that it is on is likely a collectible!

Well, off my soap box. But I do appreciate the fact that Nevadamint will use the term "reproduction".
