I was going to meet my son and i was walking past the LET IT RIDE table the dealer was passing the time with the pit person. so i sat down broke out a hundered gave them my comp card and explained that i was going to shill. long story back in the real old times they used to hire people to go around and set at the empty table as a lot of people even today do not want to go heads up with a dealer. So as the hands progressed i was down to just above $50 which is when i travel. but i hit 3 of a kind and then 2 pair then was looking at A J K hearts so i showed it to the dealer and said lets see the next card lo and behold he turned up a 10 up HEARTS then my heart skipped severl beats must have then i said ok lets see the last card. QUEEN OF HEARTS. I WENT SOME WHERE BETWEEN passing out and going in to limbo. then the pit went into a drill some one wanted my drivers license and social security card. i letter was sent to the pit for chips. a security poerson was now standing behind me and people were running around. remember i was the only one at the table i called my son who came running first i yelled it then cell phone. the guard came with the chips which were put into the table rack. and at this time the dealer was laying the deck out on the table so that the eye in the sky could vertify the deck. (which i was told would go under scrunity and that they had to rerun the last 10 hands played. then i was handed a release form alwing them to use me as advertisement if they so wanted to. then the dealer was instructed to pay the hand off. which he did and put $25.000 dollars woth of black chips. the they arranged them infron of me and started to take pictures. then they security and thetop floor person which was supervising the whole event put the chips in plastic holders and carried then over to the cage. and was presented to the cashier and she started to count out 100 dollar bills on stacks of 2.500 then after she coiunted there wqas another person who also counted to confirm. then i was given free at no cost a security box and i put the money in the box and signed for the box and given the only key. and wasa told if i lost it they would have to drill the box at no cost to me. they would not or could not do a money or a cashiers check. it was strickly cash. witch i brough back to calif and deposited it this morning. oh yes late sunday night i hit a royal at video poker. great trip. my most lucky moment beside marrying my lovely bride of 49 1/2 years. mother gets a new kitchen.
