Doug...Watched the game and gotta admit Backe pitched a awesome game. I hope they go all the way. Maybe it shows that the team playing the best at the end goes all the way. St Louis slacked off and I've scene this before. Well, I guess we cant forget the 2001 and Seattle because of 9/11, but they won 100 or more games, but sadly had to wait out the 9/11 event too. they lost to the Yanks in the first round. It would be cool if it was the two wild cards. I'd love to see them both. I think Boston has a bit of a up hill climb, but they hung in there too.
