Collecting Fun vs. eBay (1)

I decided to go item by item instead of listing everything together. Easier on your time and I get to repeat my message. In the meanwhile, check out our 3 months free/3 months half-rate promotion under the Sellers tab.

1. With Collecting Fun, there is no middleman, the seller deals directly with the buyer and vice versa. With eBay, there is always the question of whether the highest bidder will actually pay for the item. If no payment is received, the seller has already paid eBay the final value fee and now has to waste time to get it refunded, enter negative feedback, hassle with second-chance listing, etc. Also, with eBay, the seller mostly has no control over who the highest bidder is. With Collecting Fun, the seller knows the actual name of the buyer. There are no screen names since the buyer has to contact the seller directly. Conversely, the buyer also knows the seller, and we will only register established reputable sellers at Collecting Fun, no fly-by-night operators will operate as they do on eBay. At Collecting Fun, the seller has no obligation to anyone until payment is received. The buyer is also protected because the sellers are known to be reputable, not people hiding behind rapidly changing aliases.
