Just sitting around scanning chips and chasing a pale ale with black coffee, Abraxas in the CD player (Oye Como Va). Realized I had finally chased down this issue of Hotel Ely chips so I thought I'd put this together. Recalled a Saito story about the black chips so I looked it up. While the rest of the world was selling and trading these $100 Hotel Nevada chips for $10-$20 bucks back in 1993, the main floor casino actually had them in play! This just in: I looked up these chips in TCR #10 to see where they were at.
