Re: Michael Parr passed away.

I am so sorry. He was a great one for starting many many people along the right path to antique poker chip collecting, including myself and probably other collections I don't even know about. He was a good friend of Dale Seymour's and I am sure, of many of you others. I would like to see him in some sort of Hall of Fame or receive a tribute from the Club, or maybe an article about him in the next Magazine. Has this been considered? The guy was truly a legend and remarkable in his honesty, integrity and sense of humor. He should not go unnoticed. Many new members are collectors of casino stuff only and don't even know about antique poker chip collecting, a viable part of CCGTCC....See the last issue on an article by Dale Seymour on the subject. I never met Michael or his wife, Judy, but if Michael ever touched you along his path, I hope you will send a letter to her. I have been exposed to the struggling, fight of terminal cancer and lost my own husband.
at the too young age of 53. Many people I never met wrote to me and told me what John meant to them. My kids and I appreciated that deeply. Sad, Nancy Olson Portland, Oregon R-5436
