Re: TCR and Chip Books Question?
In Response To: TCR and Chip Books Question? ()

I agree with most of that! being in Australia, its not so much purely the price of the book, but the huge cost of shipping which has put me off buying a tcr-10. i do have a tcr-9 courtesy of jane voller which was agreed to be shipped ground mail. As you know that was a much smaller book and was $10 to ship, but it took 6 months! Add to thati only need the book for $1 vegas chps and its not very feasible.....

It is a huge project, and perhaps if it ever gets up a reasonable membership fee could be charged annually, that way steady annual revenue could be made, rather than just everyime a new book is released. perhaps also different sections of a database or a website could hold different popular categories, with a system where you pay to access certain areas rather than the whole thing. I once suggested a spreadsheet version or something similar, however i realized that could be a problem as far as the easy "copy and send" functions go, thus robbing the authors or rightful revenue.
Well after all that, i guess i could of replied with "i concur".
cheers,
Andre
