.. I came home yesterday and I "think" I feel better, I keep looking in the mirror to see if the doctor left his ax planted in my back. I must say this time went much better than the last when I had to lay head down on one side for 4 days. He was only going to fix 2 vertebrate but found a couple more needed some maintenance and he left a ruptured disk that had become fused, he said fixing it would cause more trouble than it would solve.

I went to a new hospitalthis time, they are putting pressure on the other hospitals for business and it was really nice. You walk in and you think you are in the Shopping Mall! (Now I understand where that deductible goes! ) The rooms are spacious with big windows the bathrooms have huge showers with seating for 4 but I was always the only one that ended up naked at bath time! When I pulled the cord for the nurse, they were there in under a minute; I am accustomed to having to wait until 2 or more buzzards circle. The food was very good, nothing like you would expect. They did find a little humor in the cuisine though, straight out of surgery I had clear liquids only, broth, jello, juice, that sort of thing, they included a KNIFE AND FORK with it. I guess they expected it to freeze before it got to me!

Since this is my first day back in the Doghouse I have to keep it short…. SO Thanks everyone for your well wishes!!!!

OH YEA Ralph… the doctor said you could use the pool any time, but you have to lay on his table like everyone else.
